Once again it depends on your specific situation. Personally I studied over the summer for 2 of the 4 parts when I wasnt working.. so I put in a good 6 to 8 hours a day (5 days a week) for around a month for REG and 1.5 months for FARE. BEC i studied 2 hours a night and 8 hours on weekends while working for 1 month.

It all depends. Good rule of thumb:

FARE- 150 hours at minimum

REG- 100-150 hours

BEC- 75-100 hours

AUD- 75-100 hours

Just remember its all about scheduling ur week! You need to know waht you want to accomplish in order to accomplish. Thats the hardest part of the test. DOING IT

I studied whenever I had a free minute, I pretty much had no life at all for 6 months.  I went so far that I took my study materials into the bathroom with me when I was using the toilet and I printed out study materials and taped them to my wall for when I was showering.

FAR - 3 months
REG - 2 months
AUD - 3 weeks
BEC - 2 weeks

on the shower wall... you cant be serious? LOL. That is the funniest thing i ever heard.

But to whoever is reading this... although many people study a TON, please keep in mind, it IS possible to have a life + study for the CPA. I worked out, I watched baseball, I went out, I went on dates, etc... I did not part with much. But then again, studying was my full time job, but it was not my entire life. So there is hope :)

I am actually keeping a log of how much time I spend each day for FAR...just what lecture/section and how long it took me...because I see people who say they study for 100-150 hours and I think I am going to be way less than that.  We'll see I suppose.  I study about 2 hours a weeknight and maybe 2.5-3 hours a weekend day.  So I guess in a week that's 16 hours or so if I stick to my schedule - but usually I get stuck playing call of duty or watching espn :)

Yea, that was for FAR, I didn't do that for the other 3 sections.

In retrospect I might have gone a little overboard but I didn't want to retake a section and also wanted to finish as soon as possible.
