I use Roger with Wiley and Bisk workbooks for the MC and sim questions only.  I love Roger's way of explaining things and he keeps it interesting for people like me that are easily distracted during a one hour lecture.  He provides his own workbooks which is why you only use Wiley and Bisk for practicing questions.  His material if very sufficient.  I went from a 42 to a 87 in REG by using his course and doing the homework he assigns.  You must do the homework, watching his lectures is not enough!!  You can watch a demo of his lecture online.  I highly recommend!

A 42 to an 87? That's incredible, congratulations!

Thanks, the 42 was with no studying whatsoever.  I quickly found out I needed a review course :)

I think it really depends on your situation.  If you are a full-time accountant and did really well in school, you could probably pass the exam by just studying the Wiley books.

I barely passed most of my accounting classes (skipped class to make out with boyfriend....if i only knew then what i know now!) So i felt like i needed an intense review to teach me everything i didn't learn in college. I am using the Roger Phillip review program for all four sections.  He explains everything really well and makes it interesting!

Good for you for recognizing where you went wrong in school - I'd have to say that a large percentage of failures I see from dealing with CPA exam candidates are based on things like this, where the student just didn't put in the effort but cannot be honest with themselves about their performance or weaknesses. Haha, thanks for the giggle. :)
