I was in the same situation in May.  As long as you take the exam before November 30th you will retain credit for BEC.  This is assuming this is your last exam; if not you will lose credit since you have not completed all 4 sections.

Are there any states that do not have the 18 month CPA time limit rule to pass all four sections after you pass one section?

The AICPA website states "most boards allow 18 months to pass" after you pass one section.  I have passed two of four in AZ and they are expiring last of February and last of April.  Therefore, I have one more testing two month to pass.  However I do not necessary need to be licensed in AZ, therefore, if there is another state or jurisdiction that has a greater than 18 month period I would consider applying there.

From the AICPA website.

Is there a time limit for passing the four Examination sections?

These requirements are determined by Boards of Accountancy. Once candidates pass one Examination section, most boards allow 18 months for passing the remaining three sections. Candidates should refer to the requirements of their boards for the rules that will apply to them.

I am taking the exam from NH board. The score notice that I get my NASBA does not have any expiry date for each section. The 1st exam I took was on 11/1/2007 and the score notice that I received is dated 11/15/07 (That is the date when I got my score online) . When does my 18 month testing window start ?? Is it from 11/1/2007 or the date I passed the section which is 11/15/07. If its 11/1/2007, then my 18 month expires on 4/1/09. Can I take the exam on the 4/1/09 or does it have to be before that date ?
