The lectures help you to understand the basic concepts. Think of it as an overview. If you are pressed for time, just stick to the multiple choice questions. Keep in mind though there are no shortcuts. You really need to understand the material to pass. If you can do this with just M/C then go for it. I felt the lectures were helpful to simplify the concepts and focus on particular areas. Good luck.
