I do not agree. I have at least 3 questions asking you about the time period ( a single digit number). I think I did wrong on 2. I just checked on line and got the information. They are not even mentioned in any text book. My sims are managable, at least you know the topics. But some MCQs are far beyond my imagination. I have to guess. I hope they are only for pretest.

Anyway, I have to move on to some other sections. Any good materials for AUD, please let me know.

It always seems hard to me when I leave the test center. How long did you study for REG? I actually think it's a good sign if you felt it was easy.

I just took my first exam!  I felt the MCQ's were easy, not because they really were but because I think that Becker prepared me really, really well.  So much of the same type of questions were what I saw was in their materials.  I have been studying like crazy and following their advice and so test day was not a big surprise! I had already worked through my problem areas in those questions, so I felt good about my answers.  It really helped to find my blind spots and fixing my weak areas before the exam.  Someone else had mentioned that here in this forum, so I thank you for that advice!

I've been working on preparing for this exam for hours every day, and when it got down to today, I felt more ready.  Last night I read in the CPA Alert Fall 2006 newsletter that if you do well in the first testlet that they increase the difficulty on the second, etc.  I still don't fully understand how it all works, but the grading process is immense!  I did not realize it is not just how many you get right or wrong, and the score of 75 is not a percentage score.  (See the AICPA website, newsletters tab, Fall 2006 CPA Alert for the CPA exam grading process.)

What I will say is that they got me on the simulations!  I feel good about the writing and research tabs, but a few of the other tabs were weak areas that I did not cover as well as I could have.  I also did not expect to have the amount of coverage I did in those areas.  Nevertheless, I think I passed.  But, I'm waiting...

It was a pretty serious experience getting fingerprinted to go in and out, taking the picture, etc.  But I liked it.  I felt proud to be able to be there taking the exam and being able to take it.

I wish you all the best.  Study, study, study, it pays off with familiarity on the exam, that is for sure!

Now, I need to prepare for AUD on April 25th!

Best to you all!

Candidates are given different tests. We can give general info, but really can not tell specifics.  The type of questions that one person gets on their test is not necessarily what we will get on our test.

I found some helpful info on the test in the FAQ at http://www.cpa-exam.org/cpa/computer_faqs_2.html
(near the bottom of the FAQ)
