Hi cpafaye,

This happened to me too.Just remember 3 things..that...

1.U have to do your exams well.Everything depends on that.

2.If u dont do it now,ur wait will go on and take u further away from ur goal and betterment in life.

3.Despite all ,the person who really succeeds is the person who faces the greatest odds and still made it to the goal.
Remember" Adversity brings the best in you"

Study till you feel sleepy. If you cant sleep, dont worry .U will fall asleep when ur body needs it.Just do the practise tests, even if you are unprepared and u will realise the level of your preparation and make u work more and keep u focused.

Believe me ,this is how i kept going and im a nervous wreck when it comes to exams.

Just sharing a few thoughts ,hope it helps u.All the best.

So I've just gotten through BEC 3's lecture and I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed by the amount of information. For BEC 1, I watch the lecture on day one, re-read the chapter on day two and then I spent the rest of the week reviewing my notes and doing the homework. I'm only doing one chapter a week right now because I'm in my final month of my Mtax program.

I'm thinking that since I've just finished the lecture for BEC 3 I'll try re-reading each of the 4 sections of the chapter but that after each section I'll do those homework problems before re-reading the next section and doing its respective HW questions. I think that this would help keep the information fresh and would be better then reading 100 pages and then trying to do all the HW questions. After BEC 2 I'm having a hard time remembering everything.

Any suggestions/comments on how you approached the material? There is ton going on in BEC and I'm thinking it's time to change up my study plan.

Thanks for the advice!!!

Here is my study technique.

Watch my videos/dvd's from my review company.

Work the problems, make notes next to the one's I miss or if I just got lucky on a guess, make notes about too.

I also try to find other review company's questions and try to answer them also.  They present something in a different way, but it helps me to understand why I missed my questions.

I did this a few weeks ago with my auditing test, and found a 3rd company allowing me to take a diagnostic test online for free.  So I took advantage of it and found an area I needed to brush up on.  Concentrated on it, when back an reviewed the other sections also.  Hopefully I will be able to put test #3 behind me.

I did feel very prepared for my test when I tested.
