Hi Coach! Just curious about this: "I have passed both FAR & AUD w/out doing any." Does that mean you didn't practice the SIMS beforehand or that you didn't complete the SIMS on your test?

Good luck to ya! I'll be taking REG soon.

I passed reg first time without taking any simulations offered in Becker.  The only thing I did was practice simulations with like-kind exchanges that I had from graduate school as Becker never even mentions like-kind exchanges....guess what simulation I had on my exam....

Both.

With AUD I had familarized myself with the format (Becker), but didn't do any practicing. When it came to the exams, I did some of the first sim including the communication, and none of the second, except for the communication.

With the last (successful) attempt at FAR, I finally worked some sims (Becker Final Review), but didn't get to do any of the sims on the actual exam, except for the two communications.

I am now practicing to move on when I can't quickly answer, so that I can get to working the sims in my exam.

Good luck to you too!

Wow that's comforting to know that even if you only do a small portion of the SIMS, you can still pass. That actually will help me to not freak out during testing, and that will probably help me do better.

Thanks!!

Phoenician, please don't take that as a preparation strategy! It is not a nice feeling at all to come out of the exam so unsure!
