I cannot thank you all enough for all the comments posted. I could have been one of those who later said " I just gave it a try to see what was the exam about" .. sure! while dying inside for not trying harder.

I am actually doing what clo405 did, I am reading EVERYTHING. For some reason I feel that reading highlights only sometimes leaves "hanging"/ clueless ... it does make a difference for me.

Good luck future CPA's !!!

I love your signature 'scheduled to pass'.  I think that is a great tag line!!

CPA-hopeful! since i believe i'll be taking FAR for my 3rd time too, I want to ask you what are you doing different for your third time?? I'm trying to get my attack plan ready so as soon as they release scores I'm ready to roll.

You should start your attack plan and create your attack plan as soon as you get out of the testing center. Write down everything you remember from the exam, especially all of the stuff that gave you trouble. Study the stuff that you weren't sure about when you took the exam, plus all of the other stuff you already studied before the exam and keep studying until you get your passing score. Don't take a break from studying, it's too early and you will forget stuff and end up having to restudy it if you don't maintain the same level of diligence.

I have come to realize that you must stick to you plan (goals), be honest, be determined, and follow through.  I spent my first four years in PA taking my time to study and not really prioritizing the certification but once I left I finally came to the realization that I have to put this first in my life otherwise I will never accomplish my goal.  Everyone is different and unfortunetly you must find out what works for you (as in passing) through a trial and error basis.  I failed BEC over a span of 4 years 4 times.  Then I got serious, I was committed and after waiting for so long to take the exam I am finally on a (what we call a winning streak - 3 for 3) which I hope to make it 4 for 4.  For me it took a lot of hard work as it has not been an easy road.  For some people all they need to do is just glance over the material once and they got it but for me I have to read everything three times to finally get it - but hey if that is what it takes than I have no choice.  Good luck.

You know, I didn't really have a different plan of attack.  I'm going to watch all my Roger videos this week.  Then I plan to AS MANY MCQ's as I can.  I'm just going to keep it going until May 11 and go from there.  I was sooo close last time, that I am confident I can get it this time!!

Whats your plan?
