Hello everyone, I just checked my CPA license application on DBRP online services that FL already approved my license. But there is one thing I do not understand. My license is approved on 05/18/09 and the expiration date is 12/31/09. I thought the license should be good for 2 years, how come mine is good for only 6 month???

I am just curious: how long you had to wait to see approved status of your application? I sent my application last week of February and still its on "Manual Hold" Status. I have no clue about this status. I called DBPR and they couldn't give any clear answer, either. Frustrated..all I can say.

Hello late blommer, they received my application on 04/23/09 and my license was approved on 05/18/09. It should take 30 days to get it approved. Have you ever called them and asked them why yours is in hold?

Congratulations.

Perhaps, you were registered as FL candidate. I passed exam from another state and then transferred grades to FL.

Thanks! late bloomer. Actually one of my friends took the test in NC and transferred credit to FL. It took her one month too to get the license. You'd better call to find out.

Ouch! I thought mine took long because of transfer of grades. I will call them Tuesday morning.

Thanks for the info.
