I ordered the book because that's all the state board had available. You can still submit the answer sheet online and get the grades right away. I thought it would be irritating to have the book and not be able to search the .pdf file, but since the exam questions (there are 40) are presented in the order that the answers are provided in the text, I actually didn't mind at all. Kept a bookmark in the test section and a bookmark in the section of the reading I was in - it might be easiest to cut out the pages with the test. Anyway, it took me between an hour and a half to 2 hours, I did not read the text ahead of time but just jumped in and started looking for answers but did skim the whole book. If I only looked for answers and did not read any of the rest, I think I could have done the whole thing in about half the time (but might not have found everything on the first pass.) Anyway, passed with a 95 on the first try, so I'm happy. Just waiting to find out if I passed REG!

I just used the online version for California. The PDF document is massive so I found using the Find function very useful since you can search for key words. I feel the book version would have taken a bit longer...

I agree print is easier to read as well but I think the ability to find info outweighs using the Online format outweighs it...at least for me it did :)

I ended up ordering the book. I think it will be easier for me in terms of reading, but more difficult in terms of finding things. Either way, I'm excited to get the book and dig in to it :)

So I just got the book today.... and I've already spent over three hours trying to look for answers. I've only found one that I know for sure is right, but the others I feel like I'm just taking a good guess. I WISH I would have gotten the CD/online version. I feel like I'm flipping through pages and not really getting anything done. I'm so frustrated right now. I've gone through 5 questions in 3 hours!
