I think Colorado has a 5-yr period before exam credit expires. If true, I suppose you would also need your experience requirement within the 5-year window as well. Read the regs carefully, some states require the work experience to be within 1 year of applying, even though the exam credits are good for 5 years (Calif).

What...........are you saying in california credit scores expires in 5 years if
you don't get the license within that period ?

call the Department of Business and Professional Regulation and ask them to clarify with the FL board of accountancy regarding passing, applying, and the 1 year.  I didn't fall in that window since I applied back in 2005 but it wouldn't have effected me as I had already 5 years under my belt upon completion of the 4 sections.  Just call them to clarify, good luck.

Right now, I only have 21 credit hrs to sit in CPA exam as AK candidate. If I take the CPA exam and pass it , what’s the time restriction for meeting the 150hr and experience requirement. Do CPA exam result expire within certain amount of time?

 

Also, can I transfer my exam result to other state like CA to apply for license?
