You know, there is value in saying that you passed em all the first time... if you have the cash, drop it on the score review, and then forget about it while you prepare for the exam again.

no there's not... noone cares if someone passes the first time except for the person that did it. if someone told me "oh i passed the exam the first time" at best, my reaction would be "oh, good". at worst i'd just think they were just trying to brag.

anyway, congrats big daddy.

I didnt go for a rescore. I just sucked it up, and got it done. Even first time that I failed, it was so unexpected. Because when I finished the exam, i felt i totally dominated that sucker, actually i thought i was the king of england after finishing it. Even in additional comments i wrote to AICPA that its a done deal, thank you for the experience. Only for them to come back with a even higher sense of humor.

Well as whipped and toasted as I was. I just dusted back the books. Reapplied for a new NTS and eventually took the exam in the second week of July.

Here is what needs to be done, I used Becker. All the markings was already done. So i didnt hear lectures again. You absolutely need to know what the high lights are and what the notes are. Also I jammed in the final review, which i think is gold for all purposes. I am sure other reviews out there are good as well but personally for me, becker is legitimate.

I did questions 4 times atleast, may be more. And each time if i got less then 95 , Id do it again. You need to be well versed in the questions. Also , i have never touched the supplemental questions. Never ever. Just the questions that are in the HW. Know them inside out. Even the questions that you got right and why the other choices were not the correct answer. Its a grind, but that is what needs to be done. Reg was the first exam I passed. Once you see a flow of things, its not hard.

Its a mental game. Eventhough I am not a tax guy, I thought in my mind, tax is cake, and in doing so, i was actually waiting for numerical questions from the left field to pop and in time i was shooting them down like duck hunt on super nes from back in the day. Law part is pure memorization. It does not take a rocket scientist to pass the law part. Its either you studied for it, or you didnt. if you did study for it, there arnt many ways they can put the lock on you.

73 is around the bend, i dont even think u need to alter your plans by much. on my count there is no difference between a 75 and a 73. Its just that you messed up on one or two extra multiple choice questions or your simulation was a dead draw, which is luck.

Again you know the material, revamp it and get it done. glory awaits

Thanks for the kind words . Actually I felt better after leaving the exam centre , better than I did when I wrote my BEC exam . I was praying for 75 in BEC and got 84 . I was confident with REG and failed . I dont think I have much time to cry either . Because I have to pass the REG exam in OCT/NOV window .
