The things I studied and that appeared on the exam, I feel like I did well on.  One of my written communications was on something not covered or mentioned at all, and I didn't have time to research the topic to aid in my writing.  The other written communication was fine.  The other tabs on the both simulations were hard.

Deja vu all over again?  Sounds soooo much like my date with REG.  Nightmare on Prometric Street.

I figured my score would be in the 72 to 76 range.  The 90 left me blinking for a week.  I captured a screen-shot of it so that I could make it my computer desktop picture.

Here's hoping you'll be able to do the same soon.

Thanks, Nan!

You are always so reassuring.   Well, I can always hope!  I have a feeling I may be re-doing this one.  But, I'm still going to proceed with my plans to study audit.  Have a great 4th of July holiday weekend.

Thanks again, I feel a little better.  At least it's over with and it's a holiday weekend coming up.  I'll keep you in my thoughts next week for you FAR.

This was almost exactly my experience.  I felt better prepared for this one than any other exam, and I left it feeling horrible.  There were a couple of topics that were heavily tested that were covered in a paragraph each in the Becker book, and they tested picky details on those (and others) that weren't addressed in my study material.

Becker has been great for me so far, but like others have said, not everything can be covered in detail.  They just tested me on several items that weren't.

You guys make me feel better, though, that I might still actually pull it out.  I'm just going to try to forget about it and enjoy my non-studying life for at least 7-8 weeks.

Hello all,
I am taking REG on 18th....really nervous about this one....

How important is it to know the '$ limits' on various topics? I just can't seem to memorize them all....I find REG really tough....

Any other suggestions to prepare for this exam will be greatly appreciated....I am using Gleim....

Thank you

Are you using Gleim online?  There are 20 modules.  Identify your weak areas in tax.  Reschedule your exam IF you think that you will fail REG.  Order Bob Monette's Hot Spots (Bisk) for those tax subjects.  Do NOT order any Hot Spots on Business Law.  They are a waste of money.

It is very difficult to teach yourself about taxes with Gleim.  I only use Gleim in a test mode.

As far as the dollar limitations, thresholds, etc. just have an idea with where the item falls; it usually will be obvious.
