You said that Fraud auditing & forensic accounting is easier. How easy is the homework?

Do you think you should have taken a classroom course for Advanced accounting? Hour for hour, how much more time are you spending on the advanced accounting course in relation to Fraud auditing?

I must say, you have me concerned.

I took both Fraud Examination & Forensic Accounting at my college not LSU, and they were pretty easy classes. They do recommend that you had taken Audit I first. It's just a bunch of reading and learning about fraud schemes.

Advanced accounting is not too bad either. I actually did better in that class than I did in FAR I & II. It just has a lot to do with company consolidations and currency translation/exchange and things like that. Again, it's not too bad. Just do the homework and if you want, use a CPA review program for multiple choice questions. It may help you understand the material better.

Im currently taking the ACCT 3222 (auditing) not the Fraud Auditting. So it is not that difficult because just read the book and do the HW.

The Advanced Acct is hard. I finished 3 lessons, then now I have to put it aside cuz not sure what to do with Lesson 4 HW.

I found it is challenge because it has been a while since I took FAR I & II so accounting knowledge is a little scatchy.

If I can, I would take it in class, but then it is all about financial matter.

Sorrie for the late reply. I am trying to look for sb taking Advanced Acct from LSU so they can help me. I just want to get done with this class.

I think we all can do it if we read the chapter carefully.
