I would highly recommend talking to your supervisor before planning to take parts of the exam. It is very important to keep the lines of communication open about things like this so there is nothing unexpected down the road. Your supervisor will appreciate the courtesy and you will have all the information you need.
If you don't have a job yet, I would recommend taking as many exams as you can ASAP and working out the details of scheduling the rest of the exams after you get an offer.
