Thanks Jerry, I tell you I was almost crying last night when I called and ordered the material. They shipped today :) ... I am not looking forward to the CAR I BIG or whatever, the CAR I MAG didn't worked very well for me odviously, but perhaps I will get a "combo" becker-yaeger somehow and pass on my third atempt.

CPA Chaser how is the Yaeger CRAM? I heard is good but not good enough alone by itself.  I would recomend you try something new (anything) to add some spice to this nightmare...

Good luck in Aug!

You will cry tears of joy when you pass FAR.  Yaeger will get you over the hump.  Yaeger will review hundreds of multiple choice questions.  That is the secret.

I never understood CAR I MAG either.  However, I am giving the new consolidations rules (FASB 141R) the Yaeger/Becker Combo punch.

I have been punching FAR in the nose for the last few months.  Now I am ready to kick FAR in the ass with a review of my notes using Yaeger Cram.

Here in New York, auditing is the most expensive, then FAR, REG, and BEC.  Plus $125 extra fee for initial registration, then if you didn't register for all 4 parts in your initial application, you have to pay an extra registration fee for each part you re-register for, which ranges from $25 to $55 per part, so I registered for all 4 in my initial application and am taking the exams from most expensive to least expensive.  Oh and this is all in addition to a separate application you send to NY state with $345.  I've paid $1279.71 in fees, not including having to get passport size pictures taken for the apps, and not including the enormous amount I had to pay over the last 3 years to go back to school to get the accounting degree to qualify to take the exam!  Big ripoff.  I wish I worked for one of those companies that pay for your exam fees, but I was rejected for the job.  So I'm trying my utmost to do well on the exams, and some people at work give me a hard time for my obsession with the CPA exam.  I do not want to have thrown away all this money and lived like a poor student for nothing!

Utesa,

Thanks for the kind words.  I do feel Yaegar cram was good.  I just could not finish the cram.  It was longer than the time I had taken off of work to study.  I skipped around the lectures as much as possible on it, but went back to the blue book.  From what I went over, I did think it was good.  I like the organization of the blue book & the multiple choice explanations of Yaegar.  Hope that helps.

All the best utesa. I am almost in the same boat as you.
Did you buy the whole homestudy course from Yaeger or the Cram only?
Does the Yaeger Cram do any multiple choice questions?
