Hi

Thank you so much for the information. I heard a little
about CFA. If someone can clarify ...which is a preferred
course for an MBA graduate as few say that I have to get
into financials instead of accountancy.

Hi Swetha,

If you have specialised into Finance when u did ur MBA, then I personally would advise you to go for CFA. Because CPA doesnt emphasize 'finance' or 'management accounting' as much as CFA does.

CFA should be the better choice for you.

Hope this helps.

Apurva.

Hi Apurva,

Thank you for the information. Personally, I am in fix
whether to get into CPA or CFA as I don't think I am good
at Finance hence skeptical to do financials. In MBA I did
major in HR and minor in Finance. I am not sure if I can
manage with CFA which I heard is a long duration course.
However I am yet to get the evaluation result from FACS.
Its been beyond 5 weeks now that I applied.
Do let me know how is MBA and CPA combination in case you
know.
