Hi,
I got my evaluation result finally.... and I am through!!
Now I understand that my next step is to apply to NASBA
which takes around 4-5 weeks to complete the procedure. Can
I start preparing for the exam right away or need to wait
till I get confirmed NTS?

Hi,
I want to know which subject is the toughest and the
preferred order in which we need to take exams. Should I
enroll in Beckers or is there any other option?

Start ! there is no reason to wait now. As to the options for review courses, Gleim is really good to go for in my opinion. It really makes it simple for a candidate. The language used in the material is good, the presentation, the arrangement and all the other factors are really good.

Other option could be wiley but those books seem very complicated to me.

People say that Regulation is the toughest, which, to some extent is true. Becker, Audit are comparatively easier. But it really can't be arranged in an order in general. I would suggest you to read the contents of the syllabus, and take that subject first which you feel most confident about. Keep the tough ones in the middle and conclude the series with the next easier section.

Hope this helps.

Apurva.

Hi Apurva,

I spoke to customer representative from NASBA and got to
know that I cannot sit for CPA exam from PA as I do not
have SSN. I do not know this rule and now I am in a fix.
Do you have any idea from which state I can sit for this
exam without SSN? As I did not know about this, I
requested FACSUSA to send one original copy of evaluation
to state board of PA. How will I send another original
copy to another state board? I do have an original copy
of evaluation with me. Is it ok if I give away that
original (I would not be left with original copy anymore
for future use)? And do they accept it? I am totally
confused now. Please help.

Honestly, I am not aware of this rule about SSN. When we had filled the forms, we were asked to put any 9 digit number in the field for SSN by the review course people.

Regarding originals; do not send the original copy now. I believe you can send the attested photocopy there.
