Hey asp87, where are you located? I wonder if we got some of the same questions. I took my exam here in NYC. I know a few of the topics on my exam (both MC and simulations) were not covered in Becker, although I have only Becker 2006, but my 2009 Bisk is much more comprehensive and there was barely any indirect coverage on at least 2 of the topics. And there were at least 2 major topics that were not covered at all, and a couple major topics that were covered but were not as heavily covered as the review books say they are. I'm not surprised that not all the major topics were covered, because there is limited time on the exam, and that was my experience as well with AUD when I took it in May.

Kj, it sounds like we definitely could have had similar exams because I felt the same way about some strange topics and a couple of "major topics" making very few appearances or even none at all. I took mine in Melville, out in Long Island. This was my first exam so I don't really know how it works. Is it possible that you or anybody else could have had the exact same exam that I took or does it vary a lot?

I felt like there were 3 sections that were heavily tested and other sections that i didn't get a single problem from. There was one thing I didn't put much studying into either, and i got hit with about 8 questions on it ha.

Indeed you are not too far from me, asp87. I have no idea how much the exam varies from person to person, but I had assumed that there is a fair amount of variation given that it is computer adaptive and you are supposed to get harder or easier MC problems on the next testlet depending on how well you did on the previous testlet. But maybe it is because there is enough overlap that they are so strict about not allowing us to discuss exam topics. I wonder if all the simulations were the same though.

Why do they do that? Maybe I'm missing something here but it doesn't seem fair to me that somebody who studied hard and did well on the first testlet should have to deal with more difficult questions in the next testlets than somebody who wasn't as prepared. It seems as if they make it harder to get that 75 if you do well on the first testlet.
