ssham,

As I said elsewhere, FAR is the foundations course, and getting ahold of it is like alligator-wrestling in the Everglades.  It's a mile wide and an inch deep, and you'll feel like you're drowning more than once in the volume of material.  On the other hand, there is nothing about FAR that is inherently difficult IN ITSELF.  There's just a fire-hose blast of material to swallow.

I just jumped right into the F1 to F7 (GAAP) MCQs - from beginning to end, including the supplemental questions - after watching the F1 to F7 lectures.

Some of the MCQs I knew right away, so I selected the right answer and moved on.  Some of them I had to look up, so I clicked the "Mark for Review" button whether I found the right answer or not.  I figured that if I had to look it up the first time, I should take another look at it when doing the pre-exam review.  And any MCQ that I got wrong, whether it was a stupid mistake or not, I also clicked to "Mark for Review."

While I was at it, I read both the right answer and the wrong answer explanations, so that I could learn WHY things worked the way they worked.

After my first pass through the F1 to F7 MCQs I did the same thing for F8/F9 (Governmental); videos first, then first pass through the MCQs.

Once I had completed the first pass through all the MCQs I started a second pass through the entire F1 through F9 MCQ set, this time selecting only the questions I had marked for review or gotten wrong on the first pass.  I followed the same decision criteria I described above to mark/unmark questions.  I repeated this for a third pass until I was about at the 95% correct answer level on the MCQs.

After that I tackled the practice simulations.

The rest of my review was oriented around whatever I needed to do to nail down my weak areas.  And yes, I did use the Final Review product.  It really helped me organize my last push to the exam and ensure I didn't miss reviewing anything important.
