I'm using Gleim as well and I highly recommend studying with it. If you need a review of the basics, go here: http://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/0072994029/student_vie w0/chapter1/ and then go where it says "Narrated Slides" to hear lectures. I have found the Gleim study materials parallel the PPT slides on this website which has helped me speed up my studying. I got my approval letter from the Board so now I have to pick up the pace.

Do you do the homework using the Wiley book or the Wiley software? I bought the 2009 materials but am noticing as I start doing the homework that the book in some cases has more questions and in other cases the CD has more questions. It's really irritating trying to figure out which one to use. I started off with the book but the software allows you to track your errors (bookmark) so you can come back but it does not appear to be as comprehensive in some cases like the book, which is frustrating. Anyone else deal with this issue? How are other Yaeger/Wiley students studying? Thanks,

I am using yaeger/wiley. Alongwith becker questions.
I am following wiley BOOK questions only for now.As i
watch each lecture,i do the MCQs alongwith the
instructor. After the whole lecture,i read the chapter (by
then it will be easy for you to read as you have already
read it with them)
Then I do the rest of the MCQs from that chapter. Not just
the assigned questions, but all of them.
I will be doing the software questions only after i am
done with becker MCQs,that too only if i have time, and i
still have energy left in me :)
I have noticed that the software questions are more or
less the same as the book questions, some are
repeated.Book qs are more difficult and representative of
the real exam.Thats what i have noticed so far.
This method will take some time.I am taking it in
november.
In short, dont worry about the CD until you have mastered
all the questions in the book.I did only the book
questions for reg and becker CD,i still made an 86 for
reg.

Thinking about late August but think I am a little behind schedule here with having done only 8 of 26 homework modules on wiley. I have completed all of the lectures. My strategy now has been to read the material, make index cards as needed and do the questions. It's taking a lot longer than I expected though, especially the index card part but I think it will help me as I do my 2nd review. I work full time, so I think I am going to have to take some vacation time before the exam if I want to stick to my end of August date.
