Hi CPA08va,

I am also planning to write late aug and feel the same way about being behidn schedule. I also work full time so looks like we both have a lot in common. One thing that has helped me immensely is recording the lectures on my ipod. This way when I am taking a break or am out for some reason or even working I can jsut listen to them. Do this only after you have carefully listened to all the lectures atleast once. This is just for revision as u cannot concentrate completely. But it helps in just memorizing and reistating what you already know.

Hope this helps.

I did all of the Wiley 14.0 software problems for FAR and only the Yaeger recommended ones in the book.  I did the Yaeger assigned problems as I went along for each module; then after I had gone through everything once I did the problems in the software.  I was torn on whether to do the remaining problems in the Wiley text or go to the software.  The overriding factor was I that I was tired of the great big book lol.  I found the questions in the software to be a little more encomassing than what was in the book, maybe just me though.  Anywho, that combination worked for me :)

Thanks for your tips C.Neelam and TryingCPA.  If I get this one over with I am done, so I am really trying to be as effective as possible in the time left.  I am trying hard to get done with my first round of MC by the first week of August, leaving a couple of weeks for my 2nd review...gosh, I will be so happy when this is done with.. :)

i am using yaeger home study for far.  i go through the lectures and skip what they say to skip and learn what they say to review and feel like i have a good grasp of the information that was taught.  then when it comes to the mcq i try to do them all and find that i struggle on the questions that aren't assigned.  In the end i usually get around the 60s.  and even still i find these scores to b biased b/c a lot of the mcq's were gone over in the lecture.  i am really starting to doubt my abilities in passing this exam.

i guess my questions are:
should i be worried or is this normal?
For those taking yaeger, are you doing just the assigned problems?  if not how do you do on the rest?
For those who have already taken the exam, is how you did on the exam comparable to how you did taking the mcq in wiley?

thanks :)
