Thanks Trying CPA.  iv been using just the book didnt even think bout the software, didnt know it covered per module.  i ll try ur technique, i too am getting sick of the great big green book.  prbbly gonna develop some kinda phobia towards big green books after this, lol.

And Irvine CPA, i really enjoy the yaeger homestudy.  they make it really easy to understand the different topics and their customer service is unmatched.  before i had even bought the product i called in the middle of the night, expecting some 24 hr IT person to ask about pricing, and got one of their staff.  i dont suggest doing this but just an example of how willing they are to answer ur questions.

Hey :)

The questions in the software are similar to what is in the book, with the exception of sometimes in the book there are a few questions using the same fact pattern - you won't see that in the software.  There are usually more questions for a particular module in the software than the book, so I would say the software is a little more encompassing.  So overall, pretty comparable.
