Aren't scores curved?

No, scores are not curved, and both sims are graded, but only 1 written communication is graded.

Don't worry, bryris, you will do fine.  From your posts, it appears you really know your stuff.  On a positive note, your score does not reflect the percent you got right.  This is stated right on the score report.  It is a mystery how exactly the scoring works, but our scores are higher than the percent we get right, and I can say this from personal experience.  My first section was AUD, and I was very shaky on at least 2 simulation tabs.  I was disappointed that too many of the tabs were on just one topic that I was never good at.  I ended up passing with 99, but there is no way I got every simulation question right.  I try to remind myself of this when I start getting too discouraged during the long wait that those of us have ahead of us who got new simulations.  And if you did not already know, anyone who gets a new simulation automatically gets bumped to wave 2, meaning we won't know our scores in this testing period until late September.

Well, I took the exam this afternoon. I walked out feeling surprisingly good about myself. But the more I think about it, the more I am questioning some of the answers I put.

Took me all but 14 seconds to finish the exam with no breaks at all. The first sim wasn't too bad, the second wasn't really difficult (unless I missed something) but was pretty large with some 7 tabs.

There were probably 8-10 questions out of the 72 that I basically made an educated guess on. The rest I "think" I got right, less a few silly mistakes potentially.

I didn't particularly see a noticeable increase in difficulty between the testlets. Perhaps they got harder, but I really couldn't tell definitively.

I did everything, including the research tabs. So everything was truly done to the best of my ability, I can say that for sure.

Whether I pass could honestly go either way. My gut tells me that I will pass. But, if I don't, I might be a bit surprised, but wouldn't be too too surprised really.

For now, I am going to assume a pass and move on to FAR.

Good luck to everyone taking REG. Hopefully I won't have to revisit this forum section (beyond just out of curiosity).

Anyone going to the FAR section soon, I'll see you over there!
