Congrats to all of you who have got their license.

I am from NJ. I just got approved for my license.I need to take Ethics exam. Can anyone share more info on this. where did you order your book or CD?whats the price?

It appears from the posts on the forum that its a open book exam...Is it so in NJ too.Please share the info. Thanks!

your board will provide you a link to purchase the
material. you have a choice between CD and book. There a
Code for exam in the Answer sheet, which you will receive
along with your material.

So first contact your board.

Thanks for the response.

When I got license approval they had a sheet which provided the names of authorised ethics course providers.It did not mention any ethics exam.All I need to do is attend this 4 hours ethics class to get 4 CPE credits.I am not required to take any CPE credits till 2011.

Can some one from NJ please comment if I am understanding it correctly. Thanks!

Anila: You are correct. NJ does not require ethics course during initial licensing period. All you need "4-hours approved course" within 6-months of approval. However, the certificate must be mailed to the board within 30-days of taking the course.

Hey latebloomer ...thanks for the response!

I took the course on Aug 27th but I never mailed them the copy of certificate of completion (I assume it would be the copy of the certificate not the original). It was not mentioned anywhere nor I was advised in the seminar that I need to send it over to the board. However I came to know that the board is going to ask me through a checklist, at the end of the period the status of my CPE credits.Thus I thought I need to wait for them to ask rather than sending it over to them.

It will be full one month on Sep 27th sunday since I took this seminar. Please advise. Thanks!
