I forgot to add previosly that I already have work experience of 6 years as Accounting Manager in GE India. But being new to this country with contraints of dependent visa etc.,I am not eligible to directly work with CPA firm.

So my plan is to get enrolled in CPA , finish it up in 1 year and in parallel do a certificate cource that

a. will make me eligible to work in US.

b. add value to my current qualifications.

d. cost effective.

c. give me wonderful experience of US education .

Looking into all this parameters,I figured out that certificate in Taxation is best bet for me.

 Please let me know if there is any better option satisfying all the above criteria.
