I have a 2008 reg set (passmaster, book, videos, flashcards, etc) from becker.  How screwed am I going to be studying from the 2008 materials going into the test in mid october?

Id rather not have to buy new materials if, say, 95% of the materials are still applicable.  i just dont want to study something that is completely wrong.

so i emailed the becker FAQ to ask whether i should buy 2009 or 2010 books for feb 2010 attempt..got a reply today saying "You can use the 2009 material for the 1st quarter.."

does this make sense? should i take a chance with 2009 or play safe and order 2010?

Hi Khush,
I am doing the same too. 2009 book should be good for the Jan/Feb 2010 testing window. I am studying with the updates given by Becker. Also, changes are not too many. Most of them are the changes in the threshold amounts for phaseouts (which obviously change every year due to indexation). My exam is in Jan'10
