Be your self, tell them why you are there(Not just I want job) and ask intelligent question. The goal is to make a good impression and stand out from the crowd for the right reasons.

I believe the stand out point is passing 2 parts recently since most will be Seniors in college.

Whats your point on why I am there? Think they are smart enough to figure that out its a job fair.

Yes I dont feel like trying anymore for the Big 4..I dont want to work 60 hours a week.

Who knows how I will get my Req Hours...

Hi Matt1985 Did you look at any of the Big 4 website? If you did, you would have seen that they hire from only two sources: college recruitment and experience hire.

What this means is, if you are out of school and you don't have public accounting experience, you are like me, we don't stand a chance in hell of getting in.

I attended a few of their campus fair and was told this that in no uncertain terms are we eligible.

Sorry again to be the bearer of bad news.

 

FAR - Oct 08;

AUD - Nov 08;

BEC - Feb 09 &

REG - May 09.

I have 1 year experience graduated in 08. I dont stand a chance totally agree...unless you know someone or are a 23 year old girl...looks like I will have to search the whole darn country for a firm that actually wants a CPA.
