Hi, I am taking FAR next month and I have couple questions regarding the MC in the exam.
1. Are they computational or theory oriented? What should I expect to see?
2. I am studying with Becker and I surprise to see that the text book is very rich with information, but every chapter has an average of 150 questions which dont cover all of the topics - should I still keep on going with the MC or should I direct my time for the text?
Please help...

The MCQ's vary from test to test and how well you are doing on the test. FAR is an adaptive test, meaning the better you are doing, the harder the questions get. I've taken it 2 times already and the first time there were very few computations. I scored a 71. The second time, I would venture a guess that 85% or better were computations. I scored a 73. So I'm studying for it again.
Also remember that this test is a million miles wide and an inch deep, not to mention, it's a moving target. You can't assume that because your review program doesn't have a lot of questions on a topic that means it won't be on the test. I've never used Becker so I can't judge what their questions are like. I'm assuming they have a lot of old CPA exam questions just like everyone else.
