Can't imagine a 4 hr commute on public transportation.  I would work at a smaller firm any day just to be able to get in my car  drive 10 min and park right out the door.

well just to give another side. I used to know people that worked in audit in big 4 in nyc and had good commute and good hours during non busy season. It all depends on your client. If you are lucky and get assigned to a client with normal hours, you can get off work at 6 during busy season and at 5 during non-busy season with no out of town.

If you are attractive, age is not a big deal.  Even if you are an older milf, you will have no problem.

True but that is wrong.  Should be about who is best for the job.  To many people working for firms or industry these days make it all about themselves...hence the reason so many companies failed.  Firms seem to care less about who actually cares about the company or the firm.  How many people leave the big 4 after several years to have a family and all?  Tons do..which is fine..but there are some that they didnt hire that would be there for 30 yrs.

An older fellow I know is having issues finding an internship.  I think he focuses on being older though, which isn't really a good thing.  He tries to make it into a positive and I think most people aren't having that.
