cougarlove,
How did you get interviews from the Big4 if you have graduated 3 years ago. It seems impossible to get an interview with the Big4 after you graduated even if you passed the CPA.

Vasaline,
Networking, Networking!! I believe these two recruiters were impressed with my desire and dedication. I have been in communication with them since April of this year. I must have did something right in the first interview to advance to the 2nd round. But I must tell you, its brutal out there if you are not in school. None of the regional or Midsize firms responded to me so far. But I am happy with the interveiws I got and hopefully one of them gives me an offer!!

Second round interviews concentrate on your communication skills. This will include non-verbal communication as well. Pay attention to your interacting skills above anything else. As mentioned earlier by CFADanny, stay away from commenting and questioning anything remotely close to negativity. This includes the moment you arrive at the parking lot to the moment to you're finished and on the road home. I think that's the hardest challenge for anyone, since we're not aware when we say sarcastic, demeaning, and/or other negative things.
You'll be interviewing with different manager/partner than from your first interview. Relax in this one. You might not even say anything about accounting or career. I ended up talking about skating with mine. Just keep a humble attitude and be thankful you have a chance to even be there. This will show through. Encourage other candidates, instead of competing against them. They want to see how well you'll work as an employee. I just pretended I was already at work, and all the other candidates were my co-workers.
Keep a positive attitude and you're chances of making it through will soar high!

SO how did it go? Did you get the offer? Do you know who got the offer? How many of other students were from private schools?
