That sounds retarded. I had a testing center 15 minutes aways from my house and they stopped offering the CPA Exam there. The next closest one to me was an hour away.

It does sound a little crazy, but it's obviously worked for her so far!

I have test anxiety so when I took FAR on May 28, I went to an out of town testing center that had a riverboat casino in the same city. I stayed in their hotel (free...the casino comped it) and had dinner in their steakhouse (free...the casino comped it). I did NOT even carry my books with me and I played in the casino for a few hours before bedtime. I made sure to get a good nights sleep and a long hot shower before the test. I was relaxed and at ease when I arrived for the test. The new test center was less rigid than the one in my hometown (which is on a college campus). I am feeling very confident about the FAR exam I took and am anxiously waiting the results tomorrow.
If I passed FAR, a new ritual is born!
PS. I even brought home a little jingle from the casino! ha ha
