I don't remember celebrating my CPA license in any special way (restaurants are too "normal" to make it count) because I didn't find it to be a big deal. :-) My company at that time had nothing to do with the public accounting or any accounting at all. So, nobody cared that I passed the exam (congratulated - yes, but not more than that). I suppose not reading Wiley every day and two job offers were sufficient to make me happy. :-)

If any of the Big 4 firms would like to buy me lobster in Maryland, I'd be open to the idea.

CharliePapaAlfa, you shouldn't wait for anybody to get you a lobster. :-)

When I passed the CPA, I didn't care.  My dad who is a CPA was happy for me asked me if I wanted to goto dinner to celebrate and I said it's not a big deal to pass this exam.  I took one week break, and went straight to studying for the CFA.  I suggest everyone do the same if you want to raise your standards and succeed in more challenging feats.
