Hi，
i already have 2 years corporate accounting working experience, and i am currently working on my CPA.
My goal is get into a big 4 .
Can anyone here who is experienced with such transition lend me some good advices?
Should I go to one of my school's campus recruiting event even i graduated 2 years ago?

Definitely go to the recruiting events. Make a solid impression with the associates there. If possible, return back to school to get your Masters or 150 units mark (if not already obtained), is a good idea. In this case, you'll be back in the recruiter's pool of candidates.
If that's not possible, gain as much positive exposure with the Big 4. Just understand that the recruiters at the events are hiring for their office location.

Hi Klumb,
I am having a difficult time trying to get into the Big 4. I have recently passed the CPA Exam. I have an MBA and an MS in Accounting as well. I have some experience by working in the industry before I went back to school to get the MS in Accounting. However, with all of the above I still get rejected by two of the Big 4s. I don't know what else to do. Their reason for rejecting me is that they are not hiring full-time positions and I don't qualify to work as an intern since I already graduated from college. I am getting frustrated with my job search. I feel like I passed the CPA Exam at the wrong time and this makes me feel so worthless. Please help!!! I would appreciate any advice/suggestions. Thanks in advance.

You are overqualified for an associate position. I would keep my
options open and apply to Fortune banks. I know someone who worked big
4, didn't like the overwork and underpay, went to to Wells Fargo,
worked less hours, got paid higher than big 4, got higher pay than
co-workers for having an accounting background/CPA license, and goes
golfing few times a week with clients. If you have all the
credentials, I would apply to places where big 4 employees want to work
someday. The guy I mentioned didn't apply for an accounting position.
He went from Business Consultant to Relationship Manager.
If you want to stay in the accounting world, then apply to
local/mid-sized firms. Get few years in, and then apply for Big 4 as
an experienced hire if you are still interested by then. Again, many
big 4 workers end up going to these local/mid-sized firms to settle
down...and become partner some day. Might as well get a jump start and
go straight to where the big 4 kids want to be working eventually.
Many associates want big 4 experience to get the required hours for the
CPA license. If you already have that... you technically don't need to
go this route. You have a lot going for you. Keep your doors open.
