I want to update everyone about my case. I did receive a phone call from the firm offering me an internship with intention to hire. The hourly rate is great plus OT with a minimum of 55 hours/ week. Just to let you know, I did stipulate during my interviews that I may settle for internship if it will lead to a full time position. I am taking the internship because I really liked this firm.

That's great that you got the job, but be prepared that this could just be an internship position, and nothing more, especially with the mid-tier firms.  I was hired at UHY in 2008 with a similar set of facts and they let all the interns go after tax season.  Then again, you have the exam done, so maybe your luck will be different..

I am in GA. It's one of top 20 firms in our state. I am going to take this internship with a positive attitude and try to do my assignments very well and we will see.
