I would just look on their website and find something the peaks your curiosity. And then preface one of your questions with, "I noticed on your website.... like - your firm values "blank," how do you maintain a culture of "blank" or try to find something on their website that they are trying to use to distinguish them from the other firms of the same size.
I feel like when I did my first round interviews, they were literally trying to check things off a list:
interviewee looks professional: check
prepared for interview: check
friendly to greeter: check
asked questions: check
extracurricular activity: check
reads industry publications: check
So don't go overboard with the cheesy questions, just demonstrate in some way that you looked into the firm, be likeable, and don't mess up one of the items they probably need to check off their list.
good luck!
