Yes, I just graduated in August so that's really all I am qualified for at this
point. I have sales experience and am not working in governmental
accounting, but am afraid that won't really count as "experience" so even
with the CPA, I wasn't sure if employers would ask to see transcripts. I know
it will be a huge accomplishment to pass the four parts, so I guess it makes
sense for that to give me some credibility and overshadow my undergrad
GPA,

What is your GPA for just your Accounting and/or Business-Related courses? That's what really matters. If your grades in those classes suck, just retake the ones that are lower than a B to boost your GPA. Simple as that.

I would suggest taking the CPA Exam now since you already meet the requirements and worry about retaking classes or getting a masters afterwards. Additional schooling really isn't necessary at this point.

CharliePapaAlfa, I like the clever username, as well as the arrangement of the CPA parts to spell BARF.

Unfortunately, it is my Accounting classes that are bringing down my GPA (with an average accounting GPA of 2.3 or C+)

This is why I feel compelled to complete my master's degree. It is 10 classes, but those 10 classes will help exonerate my undergrad GPA and give me the knowledge and confidence to succeed in passing the CPA.

I just have this nagging feeling that the CPA could serve that purpose and save me 18 months and 15k.

I know this is something I need to decide for myself, but any other feedback is appreciated.

I'm confused. You mean they let you graduate with less than a B in your major? My school would've required us to retake any accounting classes that we got a C or lower in.

Still, I'd suggest getting the CPA Exam out of the way first.
