Thanks for the advice. I can't do an MSA right now because I don't have the necessary prequisites. I like the online MSA from the University of Connecticut, but I will need to take 8 undergraduate accounting classes to be eligible for it. So as an alternatve to getting a BS in accounting, my 2nd option is doing the classes at SNHU and then apply to UoC. Also, as far as doing an online degree, I don't see how anyone will know the degree was earned online. I get the same degree as a campus student.
However, if I have an MSA with no undergraduate accouting degree, will I be less compettive than someone with both a BS and an MS in accounting? This is my #1 concern. So if someone can re-assure me that an MSA with no BS in accounting will not hurt me, then I will feel mch better.
