MN Studier,

Good luck to you. I am waiting for a response for Grade 9. I know both of us are new to this IRS revenue agent application process. I wish we know somebody who has been through this application process so we can get more information and that will help us to deal with the anxiety and the uncertainties.

If I know that I will eventually get the job and perhaps the time it take and what is the process like then it will help me to relax. Off course we just have to wait and let the process take its course. Hopefully we will get these jobs at the end of this process. Let us keep praying for the best!

Yea I wish I knew more to, I believe the next step is some online assessment. I don't know much about it so I am nervous. I just got notified that I qualify for grade 11 as well, so now I just have to wait for the IRS to contact me. I really want to work for them, its kind of my dream job as lame as it sounds.

Good luck!

The IRS revenue agent application process is going to be interesting! I just received an email response saying that I qualified for grade 7 and grade 11. I know I applied for grade 7 and 9 and I did not apply for grade 11 but they say I tentatively qualified for grade 11 even though I know for sure I did not apply for grade 11.

It is kind of interesting. This process will be long and winding to say the least.

www.federalsoup.com has all the info you need for an irs revenue agent. I think there is discussion group for IRS hopefuls.

Good luck!
