Hi guys,

I just passed all 4 sections of the exam and now it looks like I'm stuck. I've worked in a private company as an accounting manager for the last 9 years, but nobody in my company holds a valid CPA license. How can I verifiy my general accounting experience?

Not to be mean or rude, but why would you take the CPA exam when you knew you don't have the experience requirement that a CPA can sign-off for you?

You can meet the experience requirements after you pass the exam. Not having a CPA to sign off on your experience is no reason not to take and pass the exam.

No problem, Marianne. Did you get your experience verified?  WA allows you to have your experience verified by a CPA who did not  supervised you. Just a thought.

Not yet, but I just recently found out that one's experience can be verified even if one volonteered his/her services and at the time was supervised by CPA which I did at some point. So I am going to use this as a confirmation of my experience.
