It will be lower than these schools, unless they are really scraping for money. Thanks for the support.

My MAcc program isn't particularly highly ranked, but I'd be weary of going to a MAcc and expecting great placement.  Most of the people (including those who attended top schools) I know who got Big 4 jobs and went to a MAcc were actually recruited before starting the grad program.  Most interned at the Big 4 firm during the senior year, and then entered the MAcc with a job and start date already in place.

All the Big 4 and second-tier recruiting at my school recently has been for students in the five-year program (undergrad/MAcc).  Recruit junior year for senior year internship (spring 2011) that will likely lead to a 2012 (post-MAcc) full-time position.

You got a point mikejeff. But I can guarentee you if you went to the top 5 on the list above, you would have no issue placing into Big 4.

Nothing is guaranteed in life. It depends what your expectations are if you want the big 4 and don't get then its a bust. I used to want it in undergrad but now I dont feel like it, I dont want to work those kind of hours. I have a friend who is a big time auditor for 3 yrs and hasnt passed the CPA. I feel thankful for doing it now.

Bottom line, I have no where else to go but a MACC program or quit accounting because no one is giving me another chance.

I can't beleive people still want to do accounting and live this kind of life.

There are a lot guarentees in life.  One of them being Big 4 jobs.  It is not particularly hard to get.  You need to be a little more positive my friend.  When I got laid off, I didn't have a single worry in my mind.
