Btw you don't need to study anywhere near 500-750 hours to get 750+ on the GMAT!  GMAT is much easier than CPA exam.  But you need to put in focused study, practice many problems, and learn how to take the test.  I think I studied at most 40 hours for the GMAT and got 750, while for the CPA exam, I spent almost 200 hours each for my easier sections (REG and BEC) and 300 each for my harder sections (AUD and FAR).

Was thinking CMA, hmm actuarial ones haven't thought of those. I dont have low 3's because I changed my major was in a very competitive MD program soph yr plus went through a bad personal problem senior yr which ended up with some descent accounting grades anyways.

I Digress...I want to go into a MSA program first and strengthen the grades, I know I can do better after studying for these CPA's if I just put more energy into it. Not sure if I can get a 700 --know nothing about the GMAT's.

I have the cash so check that off and no full time position so devote myself to a program check that off too.

It all depends how much you really want it.  I know I want it, that's why I study 2-3 hours on weekdays, 7 on weekends.

"Depends on how much you really want it" is right.  That's why I put what most people think are insane hours into the CPA exam.  Unlike you guys, I am a career changer who has been very bad at making money, so I had to work my way through a low ranked MBA and live like a poor student for 3 years just to qualify for the CPA exam.  Dawgie is right that a low ranked MBA is worthless.  But I could do only that due to lack of cash and the need to pick up the accounting credits.  I went through all this just for the CPA, so I wanted to make sure I would pass the exam.  I'm still praying on my last score.
