Feel free to.. I like being helpful.

Anyhow the lectures literallt go through the book... They practically read it for you. So you do not NEED to watch them, but it is helpful for people like me who HATE to read. With that being said, there are some parts where they tell a story to relate to a concept which is usually very helpful. I like when someone tells me an idiotic story to help me rememeber boring material such as accounting. This way when I see it on the test, i can remember a stupid story which helps me remember the concept. So the lectures are def. good for that.

But more importantly, the lecturers do a great job highlighting and telling you to specifically memorize exerpts from the book. I think this is KEY! Because frankly the book is too big and you need to whittle it down. And they pretty much do that for you. Its like getting hand fed by ur mom when you were a baby.

Maybe the person who is giving you the book already has everything highligthed and notes throughout the textbook. If that is the case then you should be fine with jsut that. I would read the entire chapter, and then after that just re-read the important stuff.

feel free to email me.

I agree that it is a bad idea to mix any 2 study materials! It's just double the frustration. I wanted to be really prepared, so I got the Kaplan book, the Gliem book, and the Wiley book for BEC.  Bad idea! After a few weeks I tossed the other books and stuck with Wiley.
