Thank you for the mail, really felt better after reading .I think i will start with financial and just go in deep .

Maybe its because of the 5yr break in between that was scaring ma and on top of that my weak accounting background , but as you said hard work pays off so I better start....

new_bird,

you are thinking too much.People pass CPA exam with their BS in science, you just have to be good at it.Weak background in accounting will not matter at all. Some people inspite of having solid background in accounting are not able to pass CPA exam.People come from all kinds of different majors and pass this exam.Once you will pass and get reasonable amount of exp you will be good, you just have to be patient.

And focus on studying,do not keep thinking about weak background in accounting.Like last time I gave you an example of a pharmacy graduate. Some are very good at school level but their GRE score is not good enough to get into good school. So its all a mtter of luck.you know!!!!!!!

If you can stomach the mind-numbing stress, go with Wiley. It doesn't spell everything out for you and can be a pain to go through, but if you can get yourself to the point where you're scoring 70% or more on Wiley questions, you will pass the exam. TBH it doesn't matter which materials you choose (all the major materials providers don't make money by not helping students to pass); CPA is a numbers game, meaning if you study x number of hours before the exam (and obviously you study the right things), you will pass! The only important thing is to choose something you can stick with.
I recommend Wiley if 1) you're a good self study, 2) you can handle choosing the wrong answer because of some technicality buried in the outlines to the SFAS, APB opinions, and ARBs, and 3) you're on a budget. Aside from free (CPAreviewforfree.com), Wiley is the most inexpensive study material (Gleim's right up there too). Don't let cost be your only motivator, though; if you need professor guidance, get Yaeger or Roger in conjunction with Wiley. There are other options and you'll find them if you look around.
In college all you hear is Becker, Becker, Becker (if it wasn't for the Internet I would have gained the impression that they were the only game in town!). In real life we have less expensive options ;-).
