I think any MAcc/MSAT is fine for non-accounting majors. You'll have to
take some prereqs, but that's to be expected. Pick a good program,
accredited, in the location where you want to work.
Honestly, the only time you get into "tiered" programs for Accounting & Tax
is with a PhD or an MBA. No one usually cares where you did your MAcc or
what your GPA was in the program, as long as you have your CPA.
I was just wondering, based on your experiences, what is a more useful degree for someone with an undergraduate accounting degree in terms of job opportunities (not necessarily highest pay): MBA or MaCC? Thanks.
