Wow, there is no more 75% of the time in the audit as the requirement of experience in new york?

I have read the stuffs from the website you posted that it really changed! Still, it is so unbelievable! I just get graduated in May, 2009, fininshed four parts of the exam by November, 2009 and have forwarded hundreds of resumes stating with audit position! Sigh... the rule just gets changed...

I just wanna confirm again here. Is any area of practice in the cpa firm counting as the experience to fulfill the requirment?

Correct, you no longer have to spend 75% of your time in audit. Any work done under the supervision of a CPA now counts! NY just changed the rules in July or August of 2009.

You don't even need to work in CPA or public company just under CPA supervision. I have a copy of original article from CPA Journal if somebody need.
