Reenie123, i know how you feel!! I know i'm not stupid, but this exam has sure made me feel like an idiot! My boss was telling me yesterday that he would resort to a life of crime before he would ever take the CPA exam again!

lol - a life of crime sounds like a great idea!!!!  Thank you for your response, it feels good to know that I am not the only one that feels like an idiot.  It is so hard to keep moving forward after failure.  I am sitting again for FARE (3x) at the end of February and I don't feel like I have it in me to face that computer screen for yet another failing grade.  It is so hard to stay positive and move on.

Thank you Determined CPA,
I was starting to feel like it was just me.  I am also married and working a full time job, going to graduate school, and studying for my CPA --- so I know what you mean by the challenge of balancing it all out.  Its funny, your score ranges are right in line with mine --- and I passed only AUD with an 85.  If you can bring your scores from 60's to 75 ---- there may be hope for me.  Thank you for your inspiration and affirming that this exam is passable.  Congradulations on your wonderful scores!!!! --- How does it feel to be a CPA :).   I hope to follow your footsteps.

A big part of this exam is having the confidence that you can pass the exam. The fact that you got an 85 on AUD should let you know that you are smart enough to pass this exam. Most people don't get a score that high on any parts of this exam. So stay confident that you can pass this thing and keep working at it. It will eventually happen and when it does, it will feel that much better because of your journey. Good Luck!!

Also, the way you study is very important.  Some people study in front of a TV or with other distractions.  Don't do it!  Let your study time be for studying only!

Andrew,

Thank you for your kind words and rekindling my positive attitude.  Congradulations on becoming a CPA, I look forward to being able to write those initials at the end of my name.
