UCFAccountant, i know how you feel.  This test is enough to make a person go insane.  I think taking the CPA exam is one of the most stressful things you will do in your entire life.  Some people on here get through the exams pretty easy and do very well.  But some of us have a harder time.  Just hang in there and try to get through it.  I wish i had better advice for you (and me).

There is no way the CPA Exam is one of the most stressful things you'll do in your life.  Doesn't even rank in the top 500 for me.  It's a freaking exam, it's not the end of the world.  Nothing to lose sleep over.  The CPA Exam is something you have control over.  I lose sleep and stress out over things I don't have control over.

Isn't it kind of silly to stress out about things you can't control?  Shouldn't those be the things you just accept as part of life sucking and channel stress and worry into motivation to take action regarding things in your control, such as, for example, CPA exam preparation?

Part of me wonders if AccountingNerd8 turned you down for a date request or something the way you're always needling her.  Maybe this is just what they mean by "Southern hospitality" - I'm a Yankee and am pretty much ignorant of such matters.

(Southern hospitality comment intended as sarcasm - I'm pretty sure most of fla_examer85's replies to AccountingNerd8 aren't examples of such hospitality.)

For the OP, while I'm nowhere near the 33 accounting credits needed to sit for the exam in my cold, wintry state, my approach towards exams that I want to do well on is to assess my weaknesses, address them with extra study time and at some point realize and accept that I am as prepared as it is reasonably possible to be.

Don't forget to take advantage of the exam format as much as you can.  For example, if an MCQ doesn't cooperate with you, move on to the next one and come back as time permits.  Be mindful of how much time you want to allocate for the sims.

Good luck, I hope you do well!

You couldn't be further from the truth if you believe that.

You're actually going to try and claim this?

How many times have I stood you up while you had a fiance?  Yeah, you really need to be getting married.

I'm not claiming anything. I just think its funny that he noticed that you are always contradicting everything I say on this website.

And you know i would never do anything with you.  Not 3 years ago during the semester of cost accounting or anytime after that.

And i don't need your permission to get married.
