Hi Khush,

I am planning to sit for the CPA exam, i am MBA finance
from India and i had done my Bachelors in Arts, i am
planning to evaluate my degrees. I am in California so is
it my degrees are complete to sit for the CPA exam, does
it require work experience also. As from last one year i
am not working. And right now i am on H4 visa so is it a
good idea to sit for this exam.

I am an average student so is it possible for me to
complete this or to sit for this exams.

I would appreciate if you help answer my queries.

Thanks in advance

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,

Welcome to the world of CPA :)

I would check out the California board of accountancy website for the details about education and work requirement. you can get that website from google or www.nasba.org

as for whether you can clear, i really cant make a statement on that. I have seen scholars struggle for years and average students clear everything in first trial. it is all about hard work and dedication and right amount of studying. i was a ranker in my school and college days, but strugggled for 4 years due to work home life balance issues. and i know of colleagues who were below average at work but managed to clear at first attempt ..so every individual is different.

all the best
