With KPMG, it was a long shot for almost everyone in the first place if you didn't do an internship with them. Over 90% of their new hires came from interns last year.

I had my phone interview last week. They are supposed to have one other
interviewee, but it will be in person. Does anyone think that my chance are
significantly less due to the fact that I did not get the chance to have an in
person interview?

I thought the interview went well, but I think I missed out on that chance to
make a connection with the interviewer that is only really possible in a face-
to-face meeting. The interview was strictly business. I usually try to find
some non-business topics that I can bull*removed* with the interviewer about, but
I failed to make that connection.
And there is only one spot for the two interviewees. So I guess I can hope
the other candidate just sucks.
